This project highlights our successful collaboration with Ade Dehye, a Ghana-based fashion brand. Our work resulted in a dynamic e-commerce platform and an engaging online presence, leading to increased visibility, enhanced sales, and deepened customer engagement.
Launch The SiteAde Dehye is a proudly 100% Black-owned and operated fashion brand, drawing inspiration from the African diaspora. Founded by Akintunde Ahmad, Ade Dehye is ethically and sustainably rooted in Ghana. All the brand's fabrics, either hand-dyed or hand-woven, are sourced from Africa, reflecting the brand's commitment to directly investing in the African economy and celebrating Black culture.
Despite its unique value proposition, Ade Dehye lacked an online presence that could showcase the uniqueness and richness of its offering and share its powerful story with a global audience. The brand required a digital platform that would not only facilitate eCommerce but also provide a space to educate visitors about the brand's sustainable and ethical ethos, and its African roots.
Webla Digital Agency took a two-pronged approach. First, we focused on building a user-friendly eCommerce platform that would enable seamless online shopping experiences. Second, we developed a rich narrative section on the website to share the story of Ade Dehye and its founder, Akintunde Ahmad.
• E-Commerce Platform: Our goal was to bring the vibrant and unique fashion pieces to life online. We designed a sleek, responsive, and intuitive eCommerce interface that allowed customers to easily explore, select, and purchase the brand's offerings. High-resolution product photography, detailed descriptions, and an efficient checkout system all came together to provide a satisfying shopping experience.
• Brand Narrative: Understanding that the story behind Ade Dehye was one of its strongest selling points, we created a rich multimedia narrative section on the website. This section detailed the brand's commitment to sustainability, its African roots, and the journey of its founder. Videos, photo essays, and narratives were used to offer visitors an immersive and emotional connection to the brand.
